The EP2C5T144C8N is a Cyclone II FPGA with speed grade 8in 144 pin TQFP package. This device is manufactured on 300mm wafers using TSMC's 90nm low-k dielectric process to ensure rapid availability and low cost. By minimizing silicon area, Cyclone II device can support complex digital systems on single chip at cost that rivals that of ASICs. It offers 60% higher performance and half the power consumption of competing 90nm FPGAs. The low cost and optimized feature set of Cyclone II FPGA make it as an ideal solution for wide array of applications. Cyclone II device supports the Nios II embedded processor which allows users to implement custom fit embedded processing solutions.
