Product Overview
AD7674 is an 18bit, charge redistribution, successive approximate ion register ( SAR) fully differential analogue -to-digital converter (ADC) that operates on a single 5V power supply. The device contains a high speed, 18bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, an internal reference buffer, error correction circuits, and both serial and parallel system interface ports. Typical applications include CT scanners, high dynamic data acquisition, geophone and hydrophone sensors, ∑-∆ replacement (low power, multichannel), instrumentation, spectrum analysis, medical instruments.
- 18bit resolution with no missing codes
- No pipeline delay (SAR architecture), differential input range: ±V REF (V REF up to 5V)
- Throughput: 800KSPS (warp mode), 666KSPS (normal mode) and 570KSPS (impulse mode)
- INL: ±2.5LSB max, dynamic range : 103dB typ and SINAD: 98dB typ at 2KHz VREF = 4.096V
- Parallel (18-, 16-or 8bit bus) and serial 5V/3V interface
- SPI/QSPI™/MICROWIRE/DSP compatible
- On-board reference buffer
- Power dissipation: 114mW typ at 800KSPS, 78mW typ at 500KSPS (impulse) and 160µW at 1KSPS impulse)
- 48 lead LQFP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
