Product Overview
AD8561 is a single supply comparator with separate input and output sections. Fast 7ns propagation delay makes the device a good choice for timing circuits and line receivers. Propagation delays for rising and falling signals are closely matched and track over temperature. This matched delay makes the device a good choice for clock recovery, since the duty cycle of the output will match the duty cycle of the input. It is widely used in application such as high speed timing, clock recovery and clock distribution, line receivers, digital communications, phase detectors, high speed sampling, read channel detection, PCMCIA Cards, upgrade for LT1016 designs etc.
- Single supply operation is 3V to 10V
- Low power, latch function
- Offset voltage is 2.3mV typ at (V+ = +5V, V– = VGND = 0V, TA = +25°C)
- Input bias current is –3μA typ at (VCM = 0V)
- Common-mode rejection ratio is 85dB typ at (V+ = +5V, V– = VGND = 0V, TA = +25°C)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 65dB typ at (+4.5V ≤ V+ ≤ +5.5V)
- Operating temperature range is −40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 8-lead standard small outline package [SOIC-N]
