Product Overview

U2J is an extremely stable dielectric material for Class I multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). Ceramic capacitors using the U2J dielectric retain over 99% of nominal capacitance at full rated voltage. When referenced to ambient temperature, U2J ceramic capacitors provide a predictable and linear change in capacitance. Additionally, U2J ceramic capacitors extend the available capacitance of Class I MLCCs into a range previously only available to Class II dielectric materials such as X5R and X7R. Components of this classification are temperature compensating and are
  • Higher cap value than C0G
  • Linear capacitance change with respect to time
  • Preferred capacitance solution at line frequencies and into the MHz range
  • Retains over 99% of nominal capacitance at full rated voltage
  • High thermal stability
  • Low dissipation factor DF < 0.1%
  • Low noise solution similar to C0G
  • Low ESR and ESL
  • High thermal stability
  • High ripple current capability
