Product Overview
The 1.5KE27A from Littelfuse is a 1500W, unidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-201 package. It is constructed with glass passivated chip junction. It features excellent clamping capability, fast response time and low incremental surge resistance. The 1.5KE series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.
- Reverse standoff voltage VR is 23.1V
- Breakdown voltage VBR is 25.7V minimum and 28.4V maximum at 1mA
- Maximum reverse leakage is 1µA
- Maximum clamping voltage VC is 37.5V
- Maximum peak pulse current is 40.5A
- Steady state power dissipation on infinite heat sink at TL=75°C is 6.5W
- Peak forward surge current IFSM is 200A
- Maximum instantaneous forward voltage is 5V at 100V
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +175°C, IEC-61000-4-2 ESD 30KV(air), 30KV (contact)
- ESD protection of data lines with IEC 61000-4-2 and EFT protection with IEC 61000-4-4 standard
