Product Overview

The LM4040CIM3-2.5+T is an improved precision micropower shunt voltage reference in 3 pin SOT-23 package. This two terminal shunt mode band gap voltage reference is ideal for space critical applications. The laser trimmed resistors ensure precise initial accuracy of 0.5% with ±20ppm/°C temperature coefficient (IR = 10mA). The LM4040C has 45µA minimum shunt operating current capability with low dynamic impedance which ensures stable reverse breakdown voltage accuracy over a wide range of operating temperatures and currents. This device does not require an external stabilizing capacitor while ensuring stability with any capacitive load.
  • Fixed reverse breakdown voltage of 2.5V
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
  • Low wideband output noise of 35µVrms (10Hz to 10KHz, IR=100µA)
  • Reverse breakdown voltage tolerance of ±10mV
  • Reverse dynamic impedance of 0.3ohm (IR = 1mA, f = 120Hz, IAC = 0.1IR)
