VDRS14T275BSE

The VDRS14T275BSE is a standard VDR Metal-oxide Varistor that consists of a disc of low-ß ceramic material with two tinned solid copper leads. This varistor is coated with a layer of ochre coloured epoxy, which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. The encapsulation is resistant to all cleaning solvents in accordance with "IEC 60068-2-45". The varistor is suitable for processing on automatic insertion and cutting and bending equipment. Varistor with flanged leads provide better positioning on printed-circuit boards (PCB) and more accurate control over component height. This is important for hand mounting and automatic insertion techniques. This varistor is applicable for overvoltage and transient voltage protection.
