Product Overview
AD5541A is a single, 16bit, serial input, unbuffered voltage output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) that operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. Offering unbuffered outputs, it achieves a 1µs settling time with low power consumption and low offset errors. Providing low noise performance of 11.8nV/√Hz and low glitch, this is suitable for deployment across multiple end systems. It uses a versatile 3-wire interface that is compatible with 50MHz SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards. Application includes automatic test equipment, precision source-measure instruments, data acquisition systems, medical instrumentation, aerospace instrumentation, communications infrastructure equipment, industrial control.
- Zero power-on reset code, 16bit resolution
- 5KV HBM ESD classification
- Hardware CS (active high) and LDAC (active high) functions
- 50MHz SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-/DSP-compatible interface
- Power-on reset clears DAC output to zero scale
- Typical relative accuracy (INL) is ±0.5LSB (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, -40°C <lt/> TA <lt/> +125°C)
- Typical differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±0.5LSB (guaranteed monotonic)
