Product Overview
ADR1581 is a low cost, 2-terminal (shunt), precision band gap reference. It provides an accurate 1.250V output for input currents between 60μA and 10mA. The superior accuracy and stability of the device is made possible by the precise matching and thermal tracking of on-chip components. Proprietary curvature correction design techniques have been used to minimize the nonlinearities in the voltage output temperature characteristics. It is stable with any value of capacitive load. The low minimum operating current makes the device ideal for use in battery-powered 3V or 5V systems. It is used in applications such as portable, battery-powered equipment, cellular phones, notebook computers, PDAs, GPSs, and DMMs, computer workstations, suitable for use with a wide range of video RAMDACs, smart industrial transmitters, PCMCIA cards, automotive, 3V/5V, 8bit to 12bit data converters.

- RMS noise voltage (10Hz to 10KHz) is 20μV rms typical at (TA = 25°C, IIN = 100μA)
- Turn on settling time 0.1% is 5μs typical at (TA = 25°C, IIN = 100μA)
- Output voltage hysteresis is 80μV typical at (TA = 25°C, IIN = 100μA)
- 4KV human body model, 400V machine model
- Initial accuracy is ±0.12% maximum
- Initial output error is 1mV
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 3-lead SOT-23-3
