Product Overview
HMC536MS8G is a DC to 6GHz GaAs MMIC T/R switch. The switch is ideal for cellular/PCS/3G basestation applications featuring low 0.5 dB insertion loss and +55dBm input IP3. Power handling is excellent up through 6GHz with the switch offering a P0.1dB compression point of +29dBm at +3 volts control. Typical application includes cellular/PCS/3G infrastructure, ISM/MMDS/WiMAX, CATV/CMTS, test instrumentation.
- Very fast switching speed
- Insertion loss is 0.5dB (typ, DC - 3.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Isolation (RFC to RF1/RF2) is 27dB (typ, DC - 4.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Return loss is 25dB (typ, DC - 3.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input power for 0.1dB compression is 29dBm (typ, 0.5 - 6.0GHz, Vctl = 3V)
- Input third order intercept (two-tone input power = +7dBm each tone) is 56dBm (typ)
- Switching speed is 15ns (typ, DC - 6.0GHz, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF))
- 8 lead MSOP8G package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
