Product Overview
LT1021 is a precision reference with ultralow drift and noise, extremely good long term stability and almost total immunity to input voltage variations. The reference output will both source and sink upto 10mA. Special care has been taken to minimize thermal regulation effects and temperature induced hysteresis. This device references are based on a buried zener diode structure that eliminates noise and stability problems associated with surface breakdown devices. Further, a subsurface zener exhibits better temperature drift and time stability than even the best bandgap references. It is widely used in applications such as A/D and D/A converters, precision regulators, digital voltmeters, inertial navigation systems, precision scales, portable reference standard.

- Line regulation is 1ppm/V typ at ( 8.5V ≤ VIN ≤ 12V, TA = 25°C)
- Load regulation (sourcing current) is 12ppm/mA typ at (0 ≤ IOUT ≤ 10mA, TA = 25°C)
- Supply current is 1.2mA max at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V)
- Output voltage noise is 4µVP-P typ at (0.1Hz ≤ f ≤ 10Hz, TA = 25°C)
- Long term stability of output voltage is 7ppm typ at (∆t = 1000Hrs noncumulative)
- Temperature hysteresis of output is 3ppm typ at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V)
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C
- Package style is 8-lead plastic NSOIC
