Product Overview
LTC1444 is a ultra low power quad comparator with a built-in reference. The reference output can drive a bypass capacitor of up to 0.01µF without oscillation. Comparator hysteresis is easily programmable using two resistors and the HYST pin. Comparator input operates from the negative supply to within 1.3V of the positive supply. By eliminating the cross-conducting current that normally happens when the comparator changes logic states, power supply glitches are eliminated. Typical applications are battery-powered system monitoring, threshold detectors, window comparators, oscillator circuits.
- Ultralow quiescent current is 8.5µA maximum
- Input voltage range includes the negative supply
- TTL/CMOS compatible outputs
- Propagation delay is 12µs (typical) (10mV overdrive)
- No crowbar current
- Reference output source current is 120µA at TA = 25°C, V+ = 3V, V– = GND = 0V
- Supply voltage range from 2 to 11V at TA = 25°C. V+ = 5V, V– = GND = 0V
- Common mode rejection ratio is 1mV/V at V– to (V+ – 1.3V)
- Voltage noise is 20µVRMS at 100Hz to 100kHz
- 16-lead (5mm × 4mm) plastic DFN, –40°C to 85°C temperature range
