Product Overview
LTM4650IY-1A is a dual 25A or single 50A output step-down µModule® (power module) regulator. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. External compensation allows for fast transient response to minimize output capacitance when powering FPGAs, ASICs, and processors. With synchronized multiphase parallel current sharing, six LTM4650-1 devices can deliver up to 300A. Applications include FPGA, ASIC, µProcessor core voltage regulation, information, communication systems.
- Differential remote sense amplifier, current mode control/fast transient response
- ±0.8% total DC accuracy, 4.5V to 15V input voltage range
- 0.6V to 1.8V output voltage range, output current limit is 35A typ at (VIN = 12V, VOUT = 1.2V)
- Input supply current is 8.4A typ at (VIN = 4.5V, VOUT = 1.2V, IOUT = 25A)
- EXTVCC hysteresis is 220mV typical, EXTVCC dropout is 50mV typical
- Nominal frequency is 500KHz typical at (fSET = 1.2V)
- PGOOD leakage current is ±5µA maximum at (VPGOOD = 5V)
- Minimum on-time is 90ns typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Output continuous current range is 25A maximum at (VIN = 12V, VOUT = 1.2V)
- Internal operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, 144-pin BGA package
