Product Overview
TMP17GSZ is a monolithic integrated circuit temperature transducer. It provides an output current proportional to absolute temperature. For a wide range of supply voltages, the transducer acts as high impedance temperature dependant current source of 1µA/K. Improved design and laser wafer trimming of IC's thin film resistors allow the device to achieve absolute level accuracy and nonlinearity errors previously unattainable at a comparable price. It is used in applications such as appliance temperature sensor, automotive temperature measurement and control, HVAC system monitoring, industrial temperature control, thermocouple cold junction compensation.

- Long term stability is 0.2°C/month typical at (VS = 5V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ 105°C)
