Product Overview
The Automotive series SMD Multilayer Varistor is designed by a glass encapsulated process to ensure high insulation resistance values after reflow soldering and excellent SMT compatibility. This protection ensures reliability and acid resistance against harsh environment like chlorite flux. It is mainly used to reduce transient overvoltage in a very wide range of electronic products.
- Available in case size of 0805, 1206, 1210, 1812 and 2220
- 100% nickel and tin plated termination
- 1.5 to 25J (50J under development) - Maximum energy absorption
- Well suited to protect against automotive related transients
- Load dump capabilities - According to ISO standard DP7637-2 12V and 24V pulse 5
- 24.5V (5mn) - Jump start capability (12V)
- Complying to main requirements of AECQ 200
