The EV-CBM-PIONEER1-1Z is an industrial-grade evaluation platform designed for condition-based monitoring (CBM) using the ADcmXL3021 triaxial MEMS accelerometer. Ideal for machinery health diagnostics, this wired CBM solution supports RS-485 networks and operates reliably over long cables in harsh industrial environments.

The kit integrates hardware, firmware, and PC software for rapid deployment of triaxial vibration monitoring systems. Its flexible SPI-to-RS-485 interface allows the ADcmXL3021 sensor to communicate with remote master controllers, using isolated or non-isolated interface boards featuring iCoupler® isolation (ADuM5401/ADuM110N0) and RS-485/422 transceivers (ADM4168E/ADM3066E). This design enables power and data transmission over a single cable, reducing installation complexity and cost.

Engineers can leverage the dedicated GUI software to configure the sensor, capture vibration data, and visualize signals in time-domain or FFT formats.
