Product Overview
LDL40PURY is a 200mA low dropout LDO. This high-accuracy voltage regulator is designed to be directly connected to a car battery in automotive applications or a generic battery used in industrial applications. Extended input voltage upto 40V makes the device able to support a load dump transient, which is typical in automotive systems. Ultra-low quiescent current at light load increases the battery operation lifetime in always-on-standby systems. This device is stabilized with a small ceramic capacitor on the input and output. An enable logic control function puts the device in shutdown mode allowing a total current consumption lower than 0.3µA. Thermal protection is also included. It is used in applications such as EV powertrains, always-on battery-connected applications, infotainment, instrument cluster, and ADAS.

- AEC-Q100 grade 1 qualified, power good for fixed versions, logic-controlled electronic shutdown
- Internal current limit, thermal shutdown, output active discharge function
- Dropout voltage is 700mV typical at (IOUT = 200mA; VOUT = 97% of VOUT(NOM))
- Output voltage accuracy is +2.5% max at (VOUT(NOM) + 1V ≤ VIN ≤ 24V;IOUT = 1mA to 200mA)
- Quiescent current during regulation is 2µA typical at (VIN from 2.5V to 40V no load)
- Turn on time is 800µs typical (from assertion of VEN to VOUT = 98% VOUT(NOM), VOUT(NOM) = 1V)
- Output noise voltage is 100µVRMS typical at (VIN = 3V; VOUT(NOM) = 1.2V)
- Standby current is 1µA maximum at (VIN = 32V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C, DFN6 (2x2) WF package
