Product Overview
The MAX711ESE+ is a step up/step down DC to DC converter with adjustable output in 16 pin NSOIC package. It integrates step up DC to DC converter with linear regulator to provide step up/down voltage conversion. The step up switch mode regulator contains an N channel power MOSFET switch. The MAX711 is optimized for battery applications where input varies above and below the regulated output voltage. It has an input voltage range from 1.8V to 11V and typical efficiency of 85% when boosting battery inputs. This device can be configured for minimum noise or optimum efficiency. Shutdown control turns off the MAX711 completely by disconnecting input from output (ISHDN = 0.2μA). Standby control turns off only the step up converter and leaves low power linear regulator active (IQ = 7μA).
