The 4081AF51K is a Metalized Fabric-over-foam Shielding Gasket with rectangle shaped profile, offers extremely low compression forces allow for use of lighter materials. Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) cores provide low compression set ensuring long-term reliability of gasket performance. Abrasion resistant metalized fabrics show virtually no degradation in shielding performance after 1000000 cycles (ASTM D3886). Prototype samples can be provided quickly utilizing laser technology, CAD/CAM equipment and customer supplied drawings in DWG®, DXF®, IGS, PRT®, DRW®, STP® and CT® file formats. Pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes, including Easy Peel® with extra wide release liner to facilitate quick assembly.
- Shielding effectiveness of >100dB across a wide spectrum of frequencies (MIL-STD 285 mod)
- Low surface resistivity of <0.07R/sq. provides improved conductivity (ASTM F390)
- Flame-retardant UL94V-0
- -40 to 158°F service temperature range
