An integrated device which is used to regulate the temperature of air, water or any liquid in an application. It helps in maintaining the desired temperature/temperature range in an application.

Types of Thermostats

Manual Thermostats: The desired temperature is set manually
Programmable Thermostats: Users get an option to select or set different temperatures for different times in a day or week.
Smart Thermostats: Thermostats which can be remotely controlled by smartphones or from remote locations
Bimetallic or Mechanical Thermostats: These use a bimetallic strip to regulate or control the temperature
Digital Thermostats: These use electronic sensors for temperature (and humidity in some cases) and control. Some of the devices will have a HMI and display built in
