Product Overview
AD8566WARMZ-REEL is a low-cost, single-supply, rail-to-rail input and output operational amplifier optimized for LCD monitor applications. It is built on an advanced high-voltage CBCMOS process. The AD8566 has two amplifiers. This LCD op-amp has high slew rates, a 35mA continuous output drive, a 250mA peak output drive, and a high capacitive load drive capability. It has a wide supply range and offset voltages below 10mV. It is ideal for LCD grayscale reference buffers and VCOM applications. It is used in applications such as LCD reference drivers, portable electronics, communications equipment, and automotive infotainment systems.
- Single-supply operation from 4.5V to 16V, voltage noise density is 26nV/√Hz typical
- Input capability beyond the rails, rail-to-rail output swing, qualified for automotive application
- Unity gain stable with large capacitive loads, large signal voltage gain is 10V/mV typical
- Offset voltage is 2mV typical at (4.5V ≤ VS ≤ 16V, VCM = VS/2, TA = 25°C)
- Input bias current is 80nA typical at (4.5V ≤ VS ≤ 16V, VCM = VS/2, TA = 25°C)
- Common-mode rejection ratio is 95dB typ at (VCM = 0V to VS, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +85°C)
- Supply current/amplifier is 700µA typ at (4.5V ≤ VS ≤ 16V, VCM = VS/2, TA = 25°C)
- Slew rate is 6V/µs typical at (RL = 10Kohm, CL = 200pF, 4.5V ≤ VS ≤ 16V, VCM = VS/2, TA = 25°C)
- Gain bandwidth product is 5MHz typical at (RL = 10Kohm, CL = 10pF, 4.5V ≤ VS ≤ 16V, VCM = VS/2)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 8-lead MSOP package
