EVAL-CN0256-EBZ

EVAL-CN0256-EBZ is a CN0256 circuit evaluation board, designed to demonstrate an isolated LVDS interface. LVDS isolation provides protection against fault conditions (safety isolation) and improves system robustness (functional isolation). The ADuM3442 provides digital isolation between the logic signals and the ADN4663 LVDS driver and ADN4664 LVDS receiver, while the ADuM5000 provides isolated power. The circuit isolates a dual-channel LVDS driver and dual-channel receiver, providing two complete transmit and receive paths on a single board. It maintains standard LVDS communication on the bus side while providing highly integrated isolation, low power consumption compared with traditional optocouplers, and multiple isolated channels. The design demonstrates quad-channel isolation, consisting of two transmit and two receive channels, with isolation operation up to 150Mbps, making it suitable for high-speed industrial and instrumentation applications.
