Product Overview
HMC492LP3E prescaler IC features low noise divide-by-2 static divider utilizing InGaP GaAs HBT technology. This device operates from DC (with a square wave input) to 18GHz input frequency from a single +5VDC supply. The low additive SSB phase noise of -150dBc/Hz at 100KHz offset helps the user maintain excellent system noise performance. Application includes point-to-point / multi-point radios, VSAT radios, fibre optic, test equipment, and military.
- Very wide bandwidth
- Minimum input frequency is 0.2GHz typical (sine wave input, TA=+25°C, 50 ohm system, Vcc= +5V)
- Input power range from -20 to +10dBm (Fin=2 to 14GHz, TA=+25°C, 50 ohm system, Vcc= +5V, typ)
- Typical output power is -4dBm (Fin=0.5 to 18GHz, TA=+25°C, 50 ohm system, Vcc= +5V)
- Typical reverse leakage is 60dB (both RF outputs terminated, TA=+25°C)
- Typical SSB phase noise (100KHz offset) is -150dBc/Hz (Pin=0dBm, Fin=4.8GHz, TA=+25°C)
- Typical output transition time is 100ps (Pin=0dBm, Fout=882MHz, TA=+25°C)
