Product Overview
The MAX4295EEE+ is a mono, 2W, switch-mode class D audio power amplifier in 16 pin QSOP package. It has greater than 85% efficiency and is capable of delivering 2W continuous power to a 4ohm load making it ideal for portable multimedia and general purpose high power audio applications. The MAX4295 features a total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) of 0.4% (fOSC = 125KHz), high efficiency and clickless power-up and shutdown. The active SHDN input disables the device and limits supply current to less than 1.5µA. The MAX4295 reduces the number of required external components. Internal high speed power MOS transistors allow operation as a bridge-tied load (BTL) amplifier. The frequency selectable PWM allows user to optimize the size and cost of output filter. Applications include palmtop/notebook computers, PDA audio, sound cards, game cards, boom boxes, AC amplifiers, battery powered speakers, cordless phones and portable equipments.

- 1.25MHz GBW, 115dB large signal voltage gain (VOUT = 0.2V to 4.6V, RL(OPAMP)= 10Kohm)
- Maximum output power is 0.4W at RL = 8ohm (VCC = +3V, fIN = 1KHz)
- BTL configuration eliminates the need for isolation capacitors on the output
