Product Overview
S43-RS485 is an add-on module for the 4.3" SGD 43-A PanelPilotACE display, providing a three-wire RS485 interface with an optional 120Ω termination resistor. The board mounts directly to the rear of the SGD 43-A for a compact, integrated installation. Connections are made via A (Data+), B (Data–) and GND pins, supporting half-duplex communication. The PanelPilotACE software currently supports ASCII-based serial communication and MODBUS RTU, with additional protocol support under development.
- Receiver output high voltage is Vcc-0.6 (4.4V)
- Receiver output low voltage is 0.17V typical (0.4V maximum)
- Input current (V = 12V) is 80uA typical (125uA maximum)
- Input current (V=-7V) is 50uA typical (-100uA minimum)
- Maximum data rate is 20Mbps
- A/B voltage absolute maximum is -8V to +13V
- Operating temperature range from 0 to 40°C
