The Lumberg 038799 (often referred to as 387 in product shorthand) is a rugged IP68 protective cap designed for M16 circular connectors compliant with IEC 61076 2 106. Engineered for use on sockets, the cap ensures reliable environmental sealing where connectors require long term protection against dust, moisture, and harsh outdoor or industrial conditions. Constructed from durable polycarbonate (PC), the cap supports secure sealing performance when locked with a suitable mating connector and is ideal for safeguarding unused ports in demanding applications.
