Product Overview
NCV7710 is a door module driver (lock driver). It is a powerful Driver-IC for automotive body control systems. The IC is designed to control lock motor in the door of a vehicle. With the monolithic full-bridge driver stage, the IC is able to control lock motor. It is controlled thru a 24bit SPI interface with in-frame response. Its programmable soft-start function to drive loads with higher inrush currents as current limitation value. It is widely used in application such as de-centralized door electronic systems, automobiles, rear door electronic unit, body control units (BCUs), several H-bridge applications etc.
- Operating range from 5.5V to 28V
- Support of PWM control frequency outside the audible noise
- Support of active freewheeling to reduce power dissipation
- Multiplex current sense analogue output for advanced load monitoring
- Very low current consumption in standby mode
- Charge pump output to control an external reverse polarity protection MOSFET
- Protection against short circuit, overvoltage and overtemperature
- Number of drivers are 2, VCC is 5V maximum, ID is 6A maximum
- rDS(on) max is 0.3ohm, T max is 125°C
