The Startech 1P1FFC-USB-SERIAL is designed to add legacy functionality to modern PCs that lack RS232 serial connections. This straight through USB to Serial adaptor lets you easily add RS232 serial support to USB equipped devices. Easily secure the adaptor to a serial device, using the pre-installed and removable DB-9 nuts, or install the included D-Sub thumbscrews for compatibility with other serial peripheral devices. The adaptor provides 30cm length and features integrated LED indicators that provide real time monitoring of port activity. The cable is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Linux and drivers will automatically install on Windows 7 and later, macOS 10.15 and above and Linux.
