Product Overview
The TMDC 40-2411 from Tracopower is a 40W high performance single output DC to DC converter module in fully encapsulated low profile plastic case. This converter comes in chassis mount with screw terminal or PCB versions. It has 4:1 input voltage range and a tight output voltage regulation with hiccup mode, automatic recovery short circuit protection. This converter does not need a minimum load and offer a high efficiency at low load conditions. Remote on/off and protection against overload and short circuit are standard features of this converter. The TMDC 40-2411 has EN 61000-4-2, air ±8KV, contact ±4KV (criteria A) ESD protection.
- Input voltage range from 9VDC to 36VDC and input current of 90mA at no load
- Output voltage of 5.1VDC and maximum output current of 8000mA
- Efficiency of 90% and switching frequency of 285KHz
- Maximum surge voltage of 50V
- I/O isolation voltage of 2500VDC (60sec)
- Greater than 1Gohm I/O isolation resistance, maximum I/O isolation capacitance of 2400pF
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Optional DIN rail mount adapter
- UL/cUL 60950-1, IEC 60950-1:2005 and CSA C22.2 number 60950-1-07 approved
